LVT SUPPORT PRODUCTION FOR MUMBAI METRO LINE 3 ON TRACK

Halftime in Mumbai!

Already half of the required LVT HA Type 1 supports for the Metro Mumbai Line 3 project have been fabricated. Implemented enhancements in the manufacturing process of LVT blocks at L&T’s precast facilities are contributing to a fast mass production. Even under the challenging pandemic conditions and shortages of raw materials the supply of LVT HA Type 1 supports never created a bottleneck for the project and shall be completed on schedule.

The production facility for the manufacturing of the LVT blocks in Mumbai is in full swing as the year 2021 is coming to an end. By optimizing the casting and demoulding processes, L&T has reached the set target. More than 100’000 LVT HA Type 1 supports have already been manufactured. Sonneville’ s quality team is present in Mumbai to assist and supervise the LVT support production and installation at site.
