METRO MOSCOW–LVT Track Installation Continues

Over the past years, Metro Moscow has significantly extended their railway lines using the LVT system as the preferred track solution. So far, more than 200km of LVT tracks are installed in the railway lines of Metro Moscow. Additionally, more than 50km shall be added in the next 2 years.

The LVT system has become the preferred track system for the transportation authority of Metro Moscow. The world’s longest circle metro line, "Big Circle Line", is currently under construction and the LVT system will be installed on a major part of the new line. The excellent vibration attenuation performance, high durability and liability, as well as easiness of track installation made the LVT system the most suitable choice for the Muscovite metro authority. Also taking into account that the LVT system is almost maintenance free providing a high infrastructure availability.
