Trafikverket – Gothenburg Westlink

In Gothenburg the existing terminus is tunneled and a four-tracked underground station is built. For this project a total of 16 km slab track as well as 32 switches are planned. The low level platforms of the Central station as well as the new stations Haga and Korsvägen are each built with 4 platform tracks in the tunnel. A total investment of over 1’900 million EUR is planned. The project is anticipated to be in service by 2026.

In February 2021 Vigier Rail was assigned as a supplier for the slab track system by Trafikverket.
